About Us

Hey! I'm Jānis, and alongside my fiancée Nikola, we're the founders of Made Without.

At one point in 2022 money was tight and I didn't want to spend my last dime on laundry detergent.

So I had to make one from what I already had at home.

To my surprise this worked out fine and even better than before. My clothes were now cleaner and smelled fresher.

We're not selling this laundry powder, but it made me look into other things we can craft ourselves.

Fast forward about a year later.

A realization then came to me - most of what I need can be made at home.

Not only do these homemade solutions deliver real, visible results, but I also know exactly what's in them, and they’re safe to use.

Next I made a really simple deodorant and the journey was on.

In August 2023 I decided to turn this endeavor into a business.

Spent many nights making the deodorant and balm into what they are now - made to exceed expectations.

Most of it was just me working on this project after long shifts at a bakery.

Now it's both me and my fiancée working on this project. As we're growing it also gets a little easier

So that's why we can say, our products are Made Without the bad stuff.
